Française Dinner Call for Donations

Happy New Year! 10 weeks until the Française Dinner – make your plans now!

As we have done in the past, there will be a raffle to raise funds that will support this year's dinner and subsidize next year's dinner. Popular prizes in the past have included the always-coveted American Duchess gift certificate, period-appropriate (though not necessarily Georgian - most of us dabble in a number of periods) jewelry and accessories, and tea and tea accessories. We cover American Duchess – the rest is up to our lovely guests.

We are accepting raffle donations from now until March 11 – that's one week prior to the dinner. If you are interested in donating an item, please contact Jessica at mme.bahorel@gmail.com. You may bring your item to the dinner, but we must finalize our raffle list beforehand. Early donors (prior to March 1) are guaranteed an individual featured post on our Facebook event page and our blog with links to your business if you so choose. You do not need to be a business to donate, nor do you need to be able to attend the dinner in person; we welcome any and all gifts from our friendly fellow costumers and will toast the health of our absent friends.

There will also be goodie bags again this year! Every dinner attendee will receive a bag of special gifts from us and from any interested parties. We accept everything from advertising cards and coupons to ribbons and product samples; we ask only that donations be of likely interest to a discerning and diverse crowd of historical costumers. This is a good opportunity to put your small business in front of its target audience. Those interested in donating goodie bag items may contact Isabella at isabelladangelo@gmail.com. Goodie bag items must be received by March 1 so that we have time to fill the very cute bags for everyone.

Finally, we have a limited number of slots for vendors. We do permit on-site sales at the dinner. Vendors are responsible for transporting their own merchandise to and from the site as well as setting up and taking down their displays. For more information, please contact Jessica at mme.bahorel@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing everyone in March!
